Monte León's heritage springs from
the area´s remote past. Now, extinguished
life, forms, prehistoric peoples that sailed in from
the Pacific, native peoples who lived there until
the arrival of the white man, European pioneers
and the booming wool industry which started in the
1880 s have all left their mark on the stark Patagonian
landscape. |
