Monte León is a unique example of Southern
Patagonia's unspoilt, majestic environment.
It´s
unbelievable beaches on the South Atlantic, cliffs,
caves and wind swept, gully-scarred, tableland
are home to a rich biodiversity, including a penguin
rookery with an estimated 30,000 nesting couples.
Sea lion
and whales can be seen from the beach.
The
steppe, the beaches, and the gullies are home
to a rich biodiversity, which includes puma and
guanaco, as well as many lesser species.
These
life forms have evolved in a severe environment
of harsh winters and constant winds.
