Monte
León Lodge

| CONFORTS, CAPACITY and GASTRONOMY |
Monte León, in Argentina's southern Patagonia, is home to a stunning biodiversity and spectacular landscapes. It also houses valuable mementos of its remote prehistoric past, native peoples, and activity as a sheep farm, which dates from the late 19th century.
The Monte León lodge is managed by the original owner's granddaughter. The premises were once was the estate administrator's house, and it keeps alive the traditional Patagonian combination of efficiency and comfort in a pristine natural setting.
The house was built at the beginning of the 20th century and has been carefully restored in 2000. The bright spacious drawing room is North oriented and has a well stocked library and a small Patagonian museum.
We can accommodate up to 8 guests in four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedding is pure cotton linen, feather quilts and woolen mattresses.
The menu is provided by our orchard where our vegetables are grown with organic methods. Regional fruit preserves (rhubarb, cherry, pear, raspberry, black currant and red Corinth) are elaborated in our kitchen.
This is a short description of our efforts to make our guests stay a memorable experience and to fully enjoy the wondrous scenery and the unique experience that Monte León offers.
